June - Maria Hill

“No Pattern, No Problem”

Afraid of buying panels or large scale fabric because you don’t have a pattern to fit it into? Some fabric is just too cute to be cut up into small pieces! In this trunk show of quilts, Maria will display a wide variety of quilts, from simple to complicated, small and large, that can be made without a pattern. You will be eager to visit the local quilt shop afterwards to purchase those panels and cute large-repeat fabrics as soon as it’s over! JUNE 16 – “No Pattern, No problem” WORKSHOP – Improvisational piecing using panels and large prints On Thursday, Maria, coming from Flower Mound, will zero in on utilizing panels or large scale fabric with improvisational quilting and learn to put it into a quilt. You might even have a quilt by end of time, says Maria! Learn the techniques and try your hand at creating a one of a kind quilt with inspiration and directions from Maria. Supply list attached.
