The Trinity Valley Quilters' Guild is involved in many activities both within the quilting community and the local community.
Quilting Community
Annual Quilt Show
This year's theme is "Everyday Heirlooms: Every Quilt Tells a Story," September 17-19, 2010. It will be held in the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall in the Will Rogers Memorial Complex. Please see the Quilt Show section for more details.
Annual Retreat
Late January or early February each year, our members retreat to the Tanglewood Resort for fun filled days of quilting and fellowship away from the stresses of home. Local Community
JPS Baby Quilts
Each year, Trinity Valley Quilters’ Guild donates many hand made items, baby quilts and resolution squares to newborns at John Peter Smith Hospital. Peggy Mayfield does a wonderful job of chairing this area of community service for our guild.
Women's Services
Proceeds from ticket sales of our annual Donation Quilt benefit women and children in our community. Members also donate toys and clothing at monthly meetings to support local organizations and community services.
Senior Citizen's Fair
Members assist seniors selling their quilted creations every October at this event. Contact the President at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
Annual Donation Quilt
Every year the Trinity Valley Quilters' Guild makes a donation quilt. The proceeds go to support educational opportunities and local organizations benefiting women and children. The winning ticket is drawn on Sunday at the Quilt Show. Contact the 2010 Donation Quilt Sales Chair at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
