05/21/21 – Leo Ransom Lecture and Trunk Show

Leo Ransom works in textile and mixed media mediums primarily using techniques of silhouettes, layers, collage and confetti. He has had quilts travel nationally and recently had one travel to New Zealand. He’s had several pieces that were commissioned and are part of private collections.

He does not have any formal art training and is mostly a self-taught quilter. His biggest influences are Luke Haynes and Danny Amazonas. Leo’s biggest wins so far have been in the NTQF/ Original Sewing and Quilting Expo and the Dallas Quilt shows. His dream is to one day enter the Houston International and the Paducah quilt shows.
